Figure carving stamps are designed to help create realistic trees, mountains, wildlife, and other scenic elements that bring depth and character to your leatherwork. These tools allow leather artists to add lifelike landscapes and natural details to their projects, creating scenes that tell a story. These stamps are Clay's interpretation of the classic figure carving tools originally developed by Al Stohlman, honoring their traditional designs while continuing the craftsmanship that made them favorites among leather artists. My handmade stamps are individually crafted rather than mass produced. Slight variations may occur from one stamp to another, and I believe these differences add character and make each tool as unique as the leatherworkers who use them. All stamps are made from 304 stainless steel for durability and long-lasting performance.
All stamps are currently made to order. Since each stamp is individually handcrafted by Clay, the current lead time for production and shipping is approximately six months.
